The new emoji options include shaking face, pink heart, donkey, moose, goose, hyacinth, and more. However, these new emoji characters are only available in iOS 16.4, iPadOS 16.4, watchOS 9.4, and macOS Ventura 13.3 betas, which can be downloaded by developers. Users running previous versions of the operating systems won’t be able to see the new emoji until iOS 16.4 is released to the public.
The iOS 16.4 beta also introduces other features such as push notifications for web apps, new Shortcuts actions, 5G Standalone support, and iMessage previews for Mastodon posts. iOS 16.4 beta 1 is currently only available for registered developers but should be rolled out to the public in several weeks.
