- Apple typically launches a fresh color for its latest iPhone models in the spring.
- It's rumored that Apple could introduce a new yellow color for the iPhone 14 and 14 Plus.
- This announcement could be as soon as next week.
Around this time of year, Apple typically introduces a fresh color for its latest iPhone models. Last year it was “Alpine Green,” and new rumors are suggesting that this year it could be yellow.
As reported by Japanese blog Mac Otakara and confirmed by 9to5Mac, Apple is planning to launch a new yellow variant of the iPhone 14 and 14 Plus. Interestingly, the new color will reportedly only come to the standard iPhone 14 and 14 Plus models and not the Pro models this year.

Apple offered yellow color options last with the iPhone 11 in 2019 and the iPhone XR in 2018. It’s likely that the new yellow color will be too similar to the iPhone 14 Pro “gold” option and that is why the new color will be limited to the iPhone 14 and 14 Plus models.
Last year, Apple launched the new “Alpine Green” color on March 8, so it’s likely we could see this announcement as soon as next week.
