- Apple has added quite a few new Activities
Apple has just launched all new resources for elementary school students K-12 and teachers, including a new activity guide for early learners, an inclusive app design activity and a few other small things.
Apples new initiatives are part of the already existing Everyone Can Code Endeavor. One of the new additions that they’ve added is an activity guide, called Everyone Can Code Early Learners. This new addition is meant to help educators and families introduce the world of coding to young students.
Everyone Can Code Early Learners (or ECCEL for short) uses all kinds specific activities, including off-screen tasks, to help guide students in kindergarten through third grade in discussing, discovering, and building a foundation in core coding concepts through other subjects like science, art, and music.

From Apple:
Coding and app design are essential literacies — these skills help students think critically and creatively, regardless of whether they go on to be app developers,” said Susan Prescott, Apple’s vice president of Education and Enterprise Marketing. “Apple now offers coding resources for learners from kindergarten to college, and challenges them to design amazing apps that are inclusive and accessible to users. Our resources and support for educators are designed to prepare students to be the innovators of tomorrow, whether they’re just getting started or ready to build their first apps. — Apple
