Kuo bases his prediction on supply chain intelligence and reportedly spoke with supplier Suzhou Anjie Technology, who is said to be making the kickstand.

Anjie Technology will be the new beneficiary of the all-new design foldable iPad. There may be no new iPad releases in the next 9-12 months as the iPad mini refresh is more likely to begin mass production in 1Q24.
Kuo expects an "all-new design foldable iPad" to arrive in 2024, with no other new iPad releases following for a while. Display analyst Ross Young also predicts a foldable iPad, but expects it to launch later, in 2026 or 2027. Apple is said to be working with LG to develop ultra-thin cover glass for foldable products, but it's unclear if it will be used on an iPad or iPhone. A previous report from CCS Insight claimed that Apple plans to use a foldable iPad in 2024 as a test run for foldable technology before adopting it for the iPhone.
