Apple may be working on touchscreen MacBooks
- Apple is rumored to be working on new touchscreen Macs.
- This would be using Apple's new touchscreen Mac technology.
- These rumored Macs could come as early as 2025.
For an incredibly long time, Apple's one downside to its high-performing MacBook is that it does not include a touchscreen option. Since the dawn of time, Apple users have never really had the touchscreen experience. Yes, there are iPads with added keyboards, but they just aren't MacBooks. This has always been a talking point amongst the tech community as people see that Apple is 'behind the times' not having touchscreen laptops, but there has been reasoning behind it.
With the success of the iPad, Apple has never really considered delving into the touchscreen world for computers until now. Apple is now rumored to be working on touchscreen Mac technology, and we may see the first launch of this within a few years.

When it comes to what models this technology may be used in, Bloomberg's Mark Gurman has reported that Apple engineers have been "actively engaged" in the development of Macs with touchscreens. But what model could this new technology fit with? According to Gurman, the first Mac model with this technology will be a version of an OLED MacBook Pro. Though, he is still unsure what exact product this could be in the years to come.

With a new 'updated' product comes new questions. What system will it run? How much will it cost? What is the design going to entail? Who is the competition? All these questions will need to be answered by Apple engineers, but with ample time up their sleeves, this new product installment could still take its time. Though, according to mark Gurman, we may see a touchscreen MacBook as early as 2025.
