- AirTags may also be announced
- Event invites will allegedly be sent out on November 10
According to trusted Apple expert Jon Prosser, a new Mac with Apple Silicon will allegedly be announced on November 17. At least one new ARM Mac can be expected at the event, with leaks suggesting it will be either a new version of the 13-inch MacBook Pro or the revival of the ‘MacBook’ range. He also noted that ‘AirTags,’ Apple’s Tile competitor, may also be announced during this event.
As many of you may recall, Apple recently announced that it will be moving away from Intel and towards its own custom silicon chips back in June during WWDC 2020. During the event, the only actual hardware unveiled was the Mac mini-based Developer Transition Toolkit, powered by an Apple A12Z Bionic.
Jon Prosser also said that Apple will officially confirm the date with an invitation a week earlier on November 10.
