Kuo: New form factor for Apple Watch and MacBooks next year
- New mini-LED iPad with 5G connectivity
- All-new Apple Watch form factor
- All-new industrial design for M1 Macs
In a report today, reliable Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo (reliability: 80.95%) indicated that new form factors are coming for Apple Watch and the MacBook lineup in the second half of 2021. He also spoke briefly about what to expect from the upcoming 2021 iPad range.
- Apple Watch: Kuo says to expect ‘innovative health management functions and improved form factor design’ with new models of Apple Watch in 2021
- Macs: Apple will introduce new Apple silicon Macs with all new form factor and industrial design, in the second half of 2021
- iPad: Kuo said that the iPad product lineup will continue to be compelling in 2021 with the addition of mini-LED displays and 5G cellular connectivity.
However, Ming-Chi Kuo said that the news isn’t so positive news for AirPods, with shipments down from what was initially expected. Kuo is now forecasting a 5-10% decline in year-over-year sales for the next six months. Kuo also mentioned that he expected ‘AirPods 3’ to be delayed from early 2021 to April-June 2021.
