Emergency SOS via satellite coming to six new countries this month

Apple today announced that its Emergency SOS via satellite feature, available on the iPhone 14 lineup, will be expanding to six new countries later this month. This follows the initial U.S. and Canada launch, and expansions to the U.K., France, Germany, and Ireland in December.
Starting later this month, users in Austria, Belgium, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, and Portugal will be able to use the Emergency SOS via satellite feature on their iPhone 14 devices. The feature is currently supported on iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Plus, iPhone 14 Pro, and iPhone 14 Pro Max models.
