Apple releases yellow iPhone 14, new case colors
- Apple continues its tradition of a new spring iPhone color, with a bright yellow.
- Alongside this new color, Apple has made 4 new silicone case colors for the entire iPhone 14 lineup.
- The Pro models are notably excluded from receiving a new finish.
Today, Apple released a yellow variant of the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus. This continues Apple’s tradition of launching a new iPhone color in the springtime. This started in 2021 when Apple launched a bright-purple version of the iPhone 12, and iPhone 12 mini. This continued into last year with a dark, forest-green for the iPhone 13 series.
What makes this year different, however, is Apple excluding the Pro models. There are no new colors on the Pro models, possibly due to the fact that gold is too similar to yellow. Last year, the Pro lineup got a new finish.
Along with this fresh, new iPhone color, Apple has added many new case colors. The iPhone 14 series (including the Pro models) gets 4 new silicone case colors: Canary Yellow, Olive, Sky, and Iris. A bold and bright collection of yellow, green, blue, and purple respectively.

New Apple Watch band colors are also available today, including options in Sprout Green, Canary Yellow, Olive, Purple Fog, Bright Orange, and Sky. New Hermès multi-color bands were also announced today.
You can pre-order a yellow iPhone 14 starting March 10th at no additional cost, and they will be available on the 14th. For more information, you can visit apple.com.
