Apple seems to be gearing up for a significant revamp of its Apple Watch to mark the device's tenth anniversary. According to 91mobiles, they've got their hands on CAD renders of what might be the "Apple Watch X" or Apple Watch Series 10. The big news? A larger model sporting a 2-inch display, the largest ever for an Apple Watch. The current Series 9 has a 1.7-inch screen, and the Ultra sits at 1.93 inches, so this is quite a leap.
The new dimensions are said to be around 46 x 39.7 x 11.6mm, making it bigger than the Series 9 but smaller than the Ultra. The design, however, seems familiar with the usual Digital Crown, side button, and square display that fans have come to expect. Bloomberg's Mark Gurman suggests this overhaul could launch in 2024 or 2025, aligning with the watch’s tenth anniversary.

Ming-Chi Kuo, another notable Apple analyst, claims the next-gen Apple Watch will be thinner with larger screens. Kuo mentions new size options of 45mm and 49mm, a bump up from the current 41mm and 45mm sizes seen on the Series 9. Despite these claims, the CAD renders don't show any signs of the rumored magnetic band attachment system, which was expected to free up internal space for a bigger battery or other components.
Apple usually unveils new Watch models in September alongside its iPhone lineup.
