Apple launches redesigned website with new tabs for AirPods, services and more
- The website features the new products unveiled at the ‘Unleashed’ Apple Event.
- The update introduces new tabs for AirPods, TV & Home, Apple’s services and more.
- It also brings an updated design to existing pages.
Apple has updated its website with minor design changes, including a rearranged tab bar and much more. This minor website design comes alongside the launch of third-generation AirPods, more color options for the HomePod Mini, and new MacBook Pro models witch were revealed during apple's October event.
In a rare update, Apple has introduced dedicated tabs for AirPods and its services. Previously, these were listed under the existing Music, TV, and iPhone categories. The new ‘Only on Apple’ tab lists landing pages for services such as iCloud, Apple TV+, Apple Arcade, and more, the design of the homepage and other prominent pages has also been improved.
Interestingly, the updated website removes mentions of the iPod touch, although it can still be accessed through the search functionality. Rumors suggest that the iPod touch may get its comeback in December. Mentions of the original HomePod, which was discontinued earlier this year, have also been removed.
The update should make it much easier to find new products and services. It will allow customers to learn more about new services in particular, and sign up directly in their apps.
