Early testing of iPhone 12 shows greatly improved scratch resistance
- YouTubers have already started testing Apple’s new ‘Ceramic Shield’ glass
- iPhone 11 could withstand 352 newtons of force
- iPhone 12 could withstand 442 newtons of force
The new iPhone 12 models are protected by a ceramic shield cover glass that has nano-ceramic crystals infused right into the glass to improve durability. Apple says that the ceramic shield offers four times more drop protection than the iPhone 11’ models.
MobileReviewsEh, a YouTuber, has conducted some tests on the iPhone 12 using a force meter to compare its performance to the iPhone 11.
