HomePod mini begins arriving to customers
HomePod mini pre-orders are already shipping out to customers around the world ahead of its highly anticipated launch next week. While the original HomePod didn’t ever really get the buzz the company wanted, customers on Twitter and Instagram were excited to see their HomePod mini orders being marked as “Shipped” on Apple’s online store. Right now, customers in the United States still have their orders marked as “processing” or “preparing to ship.” Pre-orders began on November 6.
HomePod mini will be available starting the week of November 16 in the United States, Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Japan, Spain, and the United Kingdom, according to Apple. Pre-orders began November 6. It will also become available in Mexico, China and Taiwan later this year.
Apple is hoping that their new $99 HomePod mini will be enough to entice customers with new features like Siri integration, HomeKit, Apple Music, Intercom voice messaging, stereo pairing and more. As with the original HomePod, Apple focused carefully on sound quality, with many reviewers praising the devices volume and clarity.
