Apple Event gets more views than all competitors combined
- Apple’s latest event has received more than 50 million views in just 48 hours
- Apple has also started advertising the event online
Apple’s most recent Apple Event has smashed all expectations, bringing in a whopping 50 million+ viewers after 24 hours. This is by far Apple’s most successful event in recent memory.
This is Apple’s first iPhone announcement since the pandemic began. The vast majority of viewers tuned in to watch the event live, with many claiming to enjoy Apple’s new online-only format.
Shortly after, we began to see reports that Apple has begun promoting their full length event on YouTube — displaying before videos across the globe. Users on Twitter were split on the decision, with many pointing out that only a very small number of people would sit through a 1 hour commercial.
