New iPhone 15 Plus CAD (computer-aided design) models and other exclusive renders have been made by Ian Zelbo, the 3D graphic expert. As per the reports and renders, Apple has given the CAD files to the partners in the supply chain for the upcoming launch. Based on multiple reports, the CAD files are possibly more accurate than other previous reports.

The iPhone 15 series will finally get a USB-C port replacing the almighty Lightning port for charging and data transfers. However, MFI (Made For iPhone) cables will be only compatible to be used with the new iPhone 15 line-up.
The iPhone 15 Plus CAD model shows off the Dynamic Island. This points out that the notch will no longer be a part of the iPhone 15 line-up, making the 15 series bezels likely slimmer than the iPhone 14 series.
Documents viewed by 9to5Mac also confirm the exact dimensions of the iPhone 15 Plus, which are:
- 160.87 mm tall
- 77.76 mm wide
- 7.81 mm thick
For comparison’s sake, here are the iPhone 14 Plus' dimensions:
- 160.84 mm tall
- 78.07 mm wide
- 7.79 mm thick
The iPhone 15 Plus might be slightly taller (0.03 mm), less wide (-0.31 mm), and slightly thicker (0.02 mm), with a thick camera bump compared to iPhone 14 Plus. All of the iPhone 15 devices might come with a new body design featuring rounded edges as well.
What do you think about the renders of iPhone 15 Plus?
