Here's what's new in iOS 16.4

- Apple has released iOS 16.4 to the public, providing new features and improvements.
- iOS 16.4 contains over 30 bug fixes, which is way more than usual.
- Apple is now already working on iOS 16.5, following the release of iOS 16.4.
Apple released its long-awaited iOS 16.4 update Monday, breaking the usual Tuesday release cycle. For older iPhone users, Apple has also released iOS 15.7.4. This means the iPhone 6S, released over seven years ago, has just received another update.
The new iOS 16.4 update contains numerous features, and over 30 security and bug fixes, which is way more than usual. For starters, there are 21 new emojis available for use, including 3 new heart colors, new animals, and a new face.

Safari has also now gained web app notification support on the Lock screen. This can be obtained by adding a website to your home screen and enabling Safari notifications.
Additionally, the renowned page-turning animation in the Books app has returned after being removed last fall.

Voice Isolation can now be enabled for cellular phone calls in iOS 16.4. This comes after the feature was initially limited to FaceTime and other apps when shipped with iOS 15 last year. Voice Isolation allows users to block out background noise and provide more clarity to their voice calls.

Duplicate photo detection in Apple Photos now comes to iCloud Shared libraries. Furthermore, other updates include multiple HomeKit bugs that have been fixed, along with the new HomeKit architecture that was removed in iOS 16.2. Visual Lookup is also now available in South Africa, along with new accessibility feature updates, and much more.
