M1X MacBook Pro leaks from Apple Park with 512 GB of storage and up to 32 GB of RAM
- Apple's upcoming M1X MacBook Pros has been leaked.
- The prototype is said to have 16 GB RAM and 512 GB
- storage, with 32 GB RAM variants also available.
Apple's upcoming MacBook Pros have been tipped by @MajinBuOfficial. Apple is rumored to be releasing the MacBook Pro 14 and MacBook Pro 16 this quarter, perhaps as early as next month.
Someone is said to have paired an M1X MacBook Pro prototype with an iPhone. Apple is developing M1X MacBook Pros with 512 GB of storage and 16 GB of RAM, which is unsurprising. Unfortunately, aside from the model name 'MacBook Pro' and the name 'DVT-X88102C,' the image does not reveal much else about the device. DVT stands for Design Validation Testing (DVT), which is a prototyping stage that precedes Production Validation Testing (PVT).
The location coordinates, which point to Apple Park, were oddly left in. McGuire Wood believes the image is genuine, despite the fact that it could easily have been faked. According to reports, 32 GB of RAM will be available, but 64 GB may not. Apple is expected to offer the MacBook Pro 14 and MacBook Pro 16 with up to 2 TB of storage as well.
In related news, @MajinBuOfficial has clarified that one of their recent tweets about an M1X MacBook Pro was a fake story. They initially assumed that photos of a development machine had been shared, but other sources confirmed that this was not the case. Apple's M1X-based MacBook Pros, on the other hand, are expected to have new I/O and a flatter design.
Apparently the new MacBook Pro that will be released soon will be equipped with the M1X chip, this is demonstrated by this image of a DVT unit tested in Cupertino #Apple #AppleInternal #MacBookProM1X pic.twitter.com/jwRVXP4ezq
