Apple has announced a new shopping feature that allows customers in the U.S. to connect via video call with an Apple Specialist while shopping for an iPhone through Apple’s online store. Specialists will help customers learn about the latest iPhone models and features, to help them choose the best device for them.

This new “Shop with a Specialist over Video” feature will be available from 7 am to 7 pm Pacific Time and is accessible from the Shop iPhone page of Apple’s website. Retail Specialists will be on video for the duration of the session, though customers will not be visible, according to Apple. Apple says the new feature is both “safe and secure.” Shop with a Specialist over VideoImage credit: Apple Inc. According to Karen Rasmussen, Apple’s head of Retail Online, “With Shop with a Specialist over Video, our team members are excited to connect with customers and provide exceptional service as they learn about which iPhone best suits them.”

The feature is available for all customers within the U.S. and is accessible via Apple’s Shop iPhone page.
