Apple starts selling new Magic Keyboard with Touch ID as separate purchase

Apple has started selling the new Magic Keyboard with Touch ID as a separate purchase, after previously only including it with the purchase of a 24-inch iMac.
The Magic Keyboard with Touch ID is priced at at $149, and the model with numeric keypad at $179. Apple has also refreshed the standard Magic Keyboard without Touch ID and numeric keypad and sells this for $99.
The Magic Mouse 2, for $79, and Magic Trackpad 2, at $129.00 are also marked as refreshed on Apple’s website, likely due to the inclusion of a braided Lightning to USB-C cable.
The design of the Magic Keyboard and Magic Trackpad has been updated with rounder corners, matching the aesthetic of the new iMac, while the keyboard has many new function keys. The accessories are only available in silver, with the other colors being exclusive to the 24-inch iMac.
It’s important to note that Touch ID on the Magic Keyboard will only work with compatible Apple Silicon-based Macs, including the M1 Mac mini, MacBook Air, 13-inch MacBook Pro and 24-inch iMac.
