- Smaller notch, 120Hz display, vastly improved cameras and more unveiled.
- Prices will start at $999 for the iPhone 13 Pro and $1099 for the Pro Max.
Apple has just announced the 6.1-inch iPhone 13 Pro and 6.7-inch iPhone 13 Pro Max during its ‘California Streaming’ event, today.
The new devices will come with a wide range of changes, including some visual updates. The notch, which houses Face ID, has been made 20% smaller, taking up less room on the display. Both Pro models also come in a new Bronze finish, which replaces Pacific Blue on last years iPhone 12 Pro. The camera lenses have also increased in size.
Unlike on the iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 mini, which have 60Hz displays, the iPhone 13 Pro has a 120Hz refresh rate, which Apple calls ProMotion. This makes scrolling and fast actions, such as gaming or watching sports, feel smoother. It also dynamically adapts to the content on the screen to save battery life.
