Apple officially launches TestFlight for Mac
- Apple has made the TestFlight app for Mac available to all users today.
- The TestFlight app allows users to beta test other apps from developers.
- The app was previously only available on iOS, iPadOS, and tvOS.
Apple announced earlier this year that TestFlight would soon be available on Mac. Today, the app’s beta period ended, and the app became available to all Mac users on the Mac App Store. Through TestFlight, users can download beta versions of apps on iOS, iPadOS, tvOS, and now macOS. Developers can invite up to 10,000 beta testers per app, and invites can be made public or be kept private.
You can now invite people to try out beta versions of your Mac apps and provide valuable feedback before release. Invite up to 10,000 external testers using their email address or by sharing a public link, create multiple groups of internal testers and configure build access for each one, and more.
Before today, TestFlight was only available via the Apple Developers website as a beta for Mac. Now, it can be downloaded here via the Mac App Store on any Mac running macOS Monterey.
