New iWork updates bring Apple Pencil hover features and more

Following Apple’s release of iOS 16.4 on Monday, Apple has updated its iWork apps, including Pages, Numbers, and Keynote, to bring new features and improvements. Among the new changes is the addition of Apple Pencil hover, bringing easier navigation and precision on the 11-inch and 12.9-inch iPad Pro models.
Apple Pencil hover, exclusive to the latest iPad Pro models, allows the iPad to detect Apple Pencil movements up to 12mm above the display, allowing users to preview content before clicking on it. Other uses include Scribble updates and more.

The new updates to iWork apps include other new improvements for iOS and macOS, including the ability to export copies of documents from the share sheet. The updates are available now with a free download from the App Store.
