Apple will soon sell all 24-inch M1 iMac colors in retail stores
- Currently, only some colors of the M1 iMac are available in stores.
- Mark Gurman says all colors will be available for purchase in stores next week.
- No new iMacs are expected to be unveiled at Apple’s upcoming event.
Ever since the redesigned 24-inch M1 iMacs were released earlier this year, Apple has said that only some colors will be available in retail stores to test out and purchase. It seems that Apple is tweaking its plan and will have all colors of the new iMacs in stores as soon as next week.
This report from Bloomberg's Mark Gurman (reliability: 84.38%) follows his recent reports on Tuesday’s Apple Event in which the iPhone 13 is expected to be unveiled. Although no new iMacs are expected at this event, Gurman is sure that we can expect some news on other Macs.
Not iPhone and Apple Watch only, some minor Mac news to look out for on September 14: Apple will start selling all 24-inch M1 iMac colors in retail stores. Yellow, orange, and purple were previously available only online.

The 24-inch M1 iMac comes in seven colors: green, yellow, orange, pink, purple, blue, and silver. Currently, only green, pink, blue, and silver are available in stores, with orange, purple, and yellow being sold exclusively online. According to Gurman, starting on September 14th, all colors will be available for purchase at Apple retail stores and online.
Although we are not expecting any new iMacs at Apple’s upcoming “California Streaming” event, there are highly anticipated redesigns of the MacBook Pro which we can reportedly expect to see by the end of the year.
