Reports suggest multiple iPhone users plan to upgrade to the iPhone 13
- 43.7% of iPhone users plan to upgrade to this year's iPhone 13.
- The primary reason for this upgrade is said to be the possibility of a 120Hz refresh rate.
A new survey hosted by SellCell has found that 43.7% of all iPhone users intend to upgrade to the iPhone 13 when it’s released this fall. SellCell has served over 3000 surveys this year to iPhone users aged 18 years or older in the United States. This number is enough to conduct a legitimate scientific survey.
According to the survey, 38% of the users plan to upgrade to the standard 6.1 inch iPhone 13. Following the standard model, is the 6.7 inch iPhone 13 Pro Max which is opted for by 31% of users. The 6.1 inch iPhone 13 Pro stands in third place with 24% of users planning to upgrade to it. Finally, only 7% of users' choice is the itsy-bitsy 5.4 inch iPhone 13 mini.
As per the survey, a big reason for this upgrade, as specified by the consumers, is the possibility of a 120 Hz high refresh rate display and an in-display Touch ID sensor. People who took the survey also stated that portless design and reverse wireless charging would be the least popular reasons to upgrade.
The iPhone 13 is expected to be announced during a virtual event in September with a hopefully regular release schedule this year, unlike the iPhone 12, which had a delayed release schedule due to COVID-19.
