  • Jon Prosser today claimed on Twitter that AirTags and brand new iPad Pro models are set to be announced next month.
  • AirTags have been rumored to include replaceable batteries and work directly within the Find My app on iOS, iPadOS, and macOS.
  • The 2021 iPad Pro lineup has been rumored to be virtually identical to the 2020 model in terms of design.

Apple’s next product announcements may only be a few weeks away, according to Jon Prosser (reliability: 88.46%). Prosser today claimed that AirTags and brand new iPad Pro models are set to be announced next month, presumably via a virtual event.

Prosser, who runs the successful tech-news site Front Page Tech, Tweeted earlier today that AirTags are "still on for March," and that he hasn't "heard of any further delays this time." Just a few hours earlier, he also confirmed that the new iPad Pro is likely to come in March.

The 2021 iPad Pro lineup has been rumored to be virtually identical to the 2020 model in terms of design. Therefore, the biggest change will likely be the display technology shift, plus a new chip based on the A14 for even better performance.

When it comes to AirTags, the most credible information thus far has come from Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo (reliability: 80.95%), who said last month that AirTags are on track for a 2021 release. Leaker L0vetodream (reliability: 93.55%) also hinted at AirTags coming in 2021, by cryptically Tweeting that the device would come in both small and large sizes.

AirTags have been rumored to include replaceable batteries and work directly within the Find My app on iOS, iPadOS, and macOS. Evidence of AirTags existence has been confirmed by analysing iOS beta software. About AirTags from 9to5Mac:

AirTags are expected to be Apple’s competition to Tile item trackers. Users will be able to attach an AirTag tracker to something like a backpack and locate it in the Find My app on iPhone, iPad, and Mac. AirTags have been rumored for well over a year now.
